Honey face mask for acne-prone skin

Honey is almost one of the safest natural facial care ingredients for your skin… Regular use of a honey mask works wonders for acne-prone skin. Honey is naturally antibacterial and helps fight acne. High in antioxidants, honey fights harmful free radicals that damage your skin. Here is a honey face mask for acne-prone skin…
Honey is a natural humectant that draws moisture from the air, leaving your skin hydrated and smooth, and can help break down excess sebum (oil) that clogs your pores, which leads to pesky breakouts.
It is safe and very useful as long as you make the honey mask with real honey that you take into your home.
If you want a great result for honey masks, you can try to find manuka honey from the Manuka tree in New Zealand and Australia. This honey is an antibacterial superfood with tons of immune system and wound care benefits. It creates miracles in wound healing and blemish problems.
Since it is both anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, baking soda with honey is very effective for your skin when used correctly.
Combine it with exfoliating lemon juice and soothing honey and you have a gentle yet effective mask that will help control acne.
HONEY FACE MASK FOR ACNE-PROPENS SKIN
- 1 teaspoon of lemon
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
Add lemon juice, honey and baking soda to a small bowl. Mix well and apply on your face and neck, smoothing it gently.
Avoid near your eyes (lemon juice and honey both hurt). Don’t turn it into a scrub by rubbing it on your skin.
After 15 minutes, remove the mask with warm, then cold water.
Things to consider when using lemon juice:
Although lemon has brightening and illuminating properties, it can make the skin light sensitive.
Rinse your face thoroughly and use a zinc oxide SPF 30+ sunscreen if you are going out in the sun soon.
