Legumes
Lentils, chickpeas, beans, broad beans… Legumes are excellent for our health, but not for a flat stomach !
Indeed, difficult to digest, they can cause bloating .
Small tip however, if you soak them a few hours before cooking, with a teaspoon of baking soda in the cooking water, you can make them much more digestible!
Raw vegetables
Raw vegetables , especially cabbage, make your stomach bloat .
They ferment and destroy dietary fiber, which leads to slow digestion and gas .
This is not a reason to completely stop raw vegetables, excellent for health! It’s more about limiting them if you tend to have a bloated belly.
White bread
White bread , such as pasta or white rice, tends to make your stomach bloat .
They have a high glycemic index and promote the storage of fat in the belly.
Prefer whole grains : bread, pasta and rice.
Frying
It’s no surprise to anyone, fried foods are high in bad fats and therefore very bad for your health.
Difficult to digest, they have a negative impact on intestinal transit and make the stomach swell.
