How to make an Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Cake
If you’re a fan of Oreo cookies ice cream cake can be the perfect dessert. They sell it at ice cream parlors like Baskin Robbins, but it’s also easy to make at home. There are different ways to make an Oreo cookies ice cream cake. This recipe may take a little longer to prepare as it includes hot chocolate and caramel toppings.
Put the Oreos in a plastic bag and grind until they are crumbs.
Spread a light layer of butter on the bottom of the pan.
Combine melted butter and ground Oreos in a mixing bowl. Spread half of this mixture over the bottom of the pan and press down with the back of a spoon to form the base. Add a layer of ice cream and set the mold aside.
Heat chocolate and caramel coating in separate bowls until easy to pour. Add a thin layer of each ingredient on top of the ice cream.
Freeze the layers for at least an hour.
Add a second layer of Oreos on top of the mixture in the pan, then a second layer of ice cream and toppings. Freeze the cake again for an hour.
Spread whipped cream evenly over cake. Cover the cake with plastic wrap, then freeze for about 3-4 hours or until firm.
