Put 1 tablespoon of olive oil and butter in a saucepan.
Add onion and cook until slightly translucent.
Add potatoes and artichokes and cook for 1 more minute, stirring.
Add the fresh onions and add enough warm water to cover it and cook until the vegetables are soft.
Before removing from the fire, add fresh basil and boil for a while.

The soup is taken from the stove after it is boiled for one more time.
