KIRDE KEBAB RECIPE
Kirde kebab ingredients
- 500 gr julienne lamb (You can also use veal if you prefer)
- 1 large onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- Liquid oil
- Black pepper
- Salt
- 5 pieces of lavash
For the above;
- Yogurt
For meat marination ;
- 1 onion juice
- 1 teaspoon of milk
- 1 bay leaf
- A few sprigs of fresh thyme
(Marination makes the meat softer, while absorbing the flavor of the spices and onions. It is recommended to increase the flavor.)
MAKING KIRDE KEBAB
- The pan is taken to the stove and heated for a while.
- After the pan is heated, oil is added to it. (The higher the heat, the better the meat is sealed, so the juice remains in it.)
- The meat is thrown into the pan that is sufficiently heated and roasted until it gets a nice color.
- Small chopped onions are added to the pan and roasted until they turn pink.
- Add tomato paste and fry, then add tomatoes.
- After adding spices and salt, it is roasted for 10 more minutes and covered.
- One of the lavash is taken on a serving plate and the prepared meat saute is added on it.
- After 5 layers are lined up in this way, the top is closed.
- It is served with yoghurt poured over it.
