How to store pancake dough?
How long it is permissible to store pancake dough depends on its composition and the freshness of the ingredients used. It is important to know that it is recommended to keep the dough without a refrigerator for no more than 1-2 hours. It is most convenient to store pancake dough not in a bowl or saucepan (the container must be closed from air), but in a bottle: it takes up little space and is practical when baking pancakes. If the dough in the refrigerator is very thick, it should be diluted to the desired consistency with milk or water.

Yeast | 1 day | Most likely, such a dough will have to be poured. It also depends on the air temperature in the kitchen. You can easily determine the state of the test by its appearance and smell. | Both yeast dough and fermented milk sourdough can stand at room temperature for no more than 3-4 hours, after which it will turn sour and become unusable. |
On kefir | 1 day | ||
Milk | 2 days, and in the freezer – from 1 to 4 months (maximum at -18 degrees) | If the dough begins to bubble, then the pancakes will no longer work, they will stick and turn over badly. Alternatively, you can fry delicious pancakes by adding baking soda and flour. | On the third day it becomes sour, but you can add flour and make not pancakes, but lush pancakes. |
On mineral water | Up to 7 days in the refrigerator and up to 4 months in the freezer (at -18 degrees) | In a few hours, nothing will happen to such a test. Stir and bake the pancakes boldly. | Remember to stir well before baking the pancakes. If the dough is in a bottle, shake well enough. |
