Hot chocolate with marshmallows
Do you remember that – not even so long ago – it was very cold and snowing? I then made a hot chocolate with whipped cream and it went through the ceiling. Everyone went to the hot chocolate in mass. This time I’m making an Easter version of it. This is also ideal for using up leftover Easter eggs.
In addition to regular chocolate, you can of course also use Easter eggs to melt the chocolate. You break it instead of the regular chocolate and make your hot chocolate from it.
Serve the hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream and top it with mini marshmallows and any extra broken Easter eggs. You can even turn it into a freak shake if you like! Nothing is too crazy!
Hot chocolate with marshmallows recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 200 ml of milk
- ½ tbsp cocoa powder
- 100 gr dark or milk chocolate broken into small pieces
- 50 ml whipped cream, beaten until stiff
Topping
- Mini marshmallow
- Colored mini Easter eggs
INSTRUCTIONS
- Break the chocolate into pieces in a cup. Heat the milk with the cocoa until very hot. Pour this over the chocolate. Let stand for a while and then stir until well blended.
- Add the whipped cream and cover with marshmallows and broken Easter eggs.
