This vitamin is good for the teeth, the skin, but especially for the eyes. Vitamin A helps the eyes to see well. A better distinction is made between light and dark colors. This ensures that we can see thickness, that we can time and actually function properly. If you are struggling with a vitamin A deficiency, you will immediately notice a limitation of the face.
In addition, bell peppers also contain a lot of vitamin C, which is conducive to a healthy immune system. If you want to eat bell peppers because of the vitamin C, choose the red variety. The red ones have twice as much vitamin C as green peppers. A green pepper contains 71 mg of vitamin C, a yellow one 114 mg, and a red one 150 mg. These values apply to raw peppers. If you cook them first, they will also lose some of these values.
Bell peppers also contain few calories, no fat, and a lot of fiber, making it an excellent vegetable to eat if you want to lose weight. These fibers contribute to good digestion. Also, vitamins B1, B2, B6, and E are again found in this vegetable. In addition to vitamins, your body also needs minerals to allow all kinds of processes in your body to run properly. Minerals can also be found in abundance in bell peppers. How about calcium, potassium, magnesium, and iron. If you take a sweet pointed pepper, you also get a good amount of folic acid.
