Orchid: If your orchid’s roots have rotted, do not throw it away!

Orchid is among the most popular flowers with its different colors. While the orchids in the homes of some people bloom innumerable, some of them do not bloom for months. If you are throwing away the orchids without flowers thinking that they will not bloom again, you are doing it wrong. You can revive your orchids with the right methods at home. Paying attention to a few points in orchid care will make your flowers bloom.
Orchid loves light, but direct sunlight will burn the orchid. Therefore, it is important to keep the orchid in a place that receives plenty of light but not direct sun.
It feeds on orchid roots. Let the roots see the light. Transparent pots are ideal for this. Roots hanging out of the pot also feed the flower with light, do not try to insert it or cut it.
Wait 2 or 3 days after the orchid’s flowers fall. Then cut the branch under the second node of the flower branch. The branch that will give new flowers grows next to it.
Once a week, place the orchid pot in a bowl of warm water and let the orchid soil absorb the water for 10 to 15 minutes. It is good that the water fills the pot, but when you take the pot out of the water, make sure that all the water is drained from the pot. Water in the pot can rot the roots.
When the orchid blooms again, you can leave the water bath and just water it. Take care to give the orchid boiled water if the tap water is chalky.
Place the orchid pot in a place that is not too hot or too cold.
Make sure the pot is in a location out of direct wind. When you open a door or window, the air flow can cause the flowers to fall quickly.
Give a specially prepared fertilizer for orchids once a year. 1 cap of fertilizer is sufficient for 1 liter of water. Fertilizer helps them get stronger.
You need to cut the yellowing leaves without waiting for them to fall.
But never cut the roots.
Wipe the leaves of the orchid regularly with a damp cloth.
When buying orchids, pay attention to their roots. Prefer orchids with many roots.
An orchid blooms every 6 months and the flowers stay for about 2 months and about 3 months in summer
SHOCKING MAINTENANCE
One year after purchasing the orchid, while the orchid has not yet bloomed, leave your orchid in a cupboard for 3 weeks without light and without water. When you remove it, take a water bath for 10-15 minutes. Then continue the normal cycle. With this treatment, the orchid will get a little stressed out, but then it will return to its former health.
