It is helpful and healthy to include vegetables in most meals to get the recommended 2 to 4 cups per day.
Vegetables considered particularly good for a liver detox include onions, garlic, beets, artichokes, and cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, kale, collard greens, kale, and Brussels sprouts.
Like vegetables, fruits contain phytonutrients that may provide health benefits. It is recommended that healthy adults consume at least 2 cups of fruit per day.
Fruits are a good source of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants, especially when consumed whole.
Many people avoid foods that contain oil when cleaning, but eating good oils from sources such as avocados, raw nuts and seeds, and nut and seed oil are actually beneficial.
