Carrots, mushrooms and pointed cabbage are often also processed in these bags, which is truly Dutch. In short, easy, tasty and healthy.
If you want to make and stir-fry your own mixed vegetables, you can use the following vegetables. These are vegetables that are often used in Asian cuisine, namely:
- Bamboo shoots
- spring onions
- Chinese cabbage
- bok choy
- Bell pepper, red or green
- snow peas
- Red onion
- Bean sprouts
- White cabbage
You can also use these vegetables for other dishes:
- baby corn
- Broccoli, small florets
- Cauliflower, small florets
- Green beans
- Oxheart cabbage
- White or yellow onions
Decide for yourself which vegetables you want to stir-fry and clean this vegetable and cut it into pieces or strips. You need about 220 grams of vegetables per person.
Then heat the wok on the heat source, along with a little oil. Make sure that the oil does not smoke, because then it will burn and you can no longer use it.
If you are using onion and garlic, first fry them in the wok for a minute. Then add your own mixed vegetables or the bag you bought at the supermarket to the wok. Keep the vegetables moving in the pan and wok for 3 – 4 minutes, then it is al dente. After 3 minutes you can add a sauce or tasty herbs to flavor the vegetables.
Serve the vegetables straight from the wok onto the plate. Taste the vegetables first to see if they are really tasty, otherwise salt and a little pepper will work wonders.
If you want to stir-fry it with other ingredients such as tofu, tempeh or another meat substitute, first stir it for a minute or two and then you can stir-fry the vegetables.
Vegetable Woks Herbs
Vegetables often have a little pronounced taste of their own. To add flavour, we can add spices or other seasonings to the wok vegetables.
There are many herbs that you can use, of course depending on what you want to prepare Oriental, Italian or Mexican or your own inspiration! Herbs and seasonings you can use are:
- curry powder
- Sesame seed

The simple soy sauce is also a great seasoning to give your wok vegetables an Asian twist. Again start with two tablespoons and taste if it is tasty. Otherwise, add a little sambal for extra spiciness.
