- 25 grams of vegetable butter
- 30 grams of flour
- 125 milliliters vegetable stock
- 150 milliliters orange juices
- Salt and pepper
To prepare the sauce you need to take the following steps:
- Heat the butter in a small saucepan and let it melt well.

- Then add the stock little by little so that you get a smooth sauce.
- Then add the orange juice and mix it all well. Let the sauce simmer for 4 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
- Now you can season the sauce with salt and pepper.
For extra flavor you can add two tablespoons of orange marmalade to the sauce at the end, so you get a real taste explosion.

Simple Orange Sauce

- 3 oranges
- 1 dl white wine, dry
- 2 cloves
- piece of cinnamon stick or 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 50 grams of sugar
- 15 grams potato flour
What are you going to do?
- Clean the oranges and peel an orange until you have 1 teaspoon full. Then squeeze all the oranges.
- Mix 100 milliliters of white wine with the orange juice.
- Now add the orange zest, cloves and cinnamon and mix well.
- Now put all this in a saucepan and bring to the boil. let it cook gently for 4 minutes.
- Now find the cloves and cinnamon stick and remove them from the pan.
- Add the sugar and dissolve it in the sauce.
- Add a little water to the potato flour and make a smooth sauce which you add slowly and little by little to the orange sauce until it is thick enough.

Cold Orange Sauce

- 2 oranges
- 100 gr granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp. White wine vinegar

- Peel the oranges with a vegetable peeler and cut the peels into thin strips. Then juice the oranges.
- Use a saucepan and place it on the heat source. Add the vinegar and sugar. Stir this together and let it stand on the heat source. Now the sugar caramelizes.
- When the sugar is brown, slowly add the orange juice. Stir this gently.
- Then add the Grand Marnier and peels and let it heat for three minutes.
- If the sauce is too thin, you can still thicken it with cornflour.
The sauce is ideal for warm main dishes, but is also delicious over ice cream.
