Salted coffee – a favorite coffee choice of many people. The aroma is faintly mixed with the bitter taste of coffee, the salty taste of salt mixed with the sweet and fatty taste of milk cream.

Below are suggestions for you to prepare a simple cup of standard salted coffee at home.

Ingredients for making salted coffee: Coffee powder (3 teaspoons); Table salt (1/2 teaspoon); Condensed milk 25 ml; Frozen ice cubes (1 handful), vegetable fat cream.

How to make salted coffee

First, you make coffee using a traditional filter. Using boiling water to rinse the filter ensures more hygiene, and soaking the coffee container will help the coffee beans bloom evenly.

Next, add 25g of medium ground coffee into the filter, shake gently to spread the coffee powder evenly and then place the filter on the cup. First, pour 45ml of boiling water over the coffee surface. When the coffee powder absorbs all the water and swells evenly, use the lid to press down on the coffee with moderate force.

Then continue to pour another 50ml of boiling water, cover and wait for the coffee to drip. Note, use boiling water around 95 degrees Celsius so that the coffee beans do not burn and lose the original taste of the coffee.

Next, add 200ml of Rich’s heavy cream and 5g of refined salt into the measuring cup. Then, use an electric mixer to beat the mixture for 2 – 3 minutes.

After making coffee, continue adding 25ml of condensed milk. Slowly add 15 – 20ml of salty cream to a cup of coffee. You can sprinkle a little cocoa powder on the surface of the drink to make it beautiful.

When drinking, use a spoon to stir well and then add ice cubes to the coffee cup, depending on your preference for hot or cold drinks.
