Green Beans Cleaning

Before you start cooking and further processing vegetables, the vegetables must first be cleaned. It’s the same with green beans.

Place the green beans on the cutting board and cut off the head and butt. When you do this, sometimes a ‘thread’ comes loose. Also remove this thread with a knife.

Place the green beans in a colander and rinse well with cold water. Toss the green beans through the colander.

The green beans are now ready for further cooking. Sometimes the green beans are broken or cut in half. This is possible, but it is not necessary.

Place a pan filled with water on the heat source and bring to a boil. Now add the green beans and let it cook for 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and drain the green beans in a colander.

Now put the frying pan on the heat source and let the vegetable butter melt. To give your dish more flavor, first fry two cloves of garlic for 1 minute, after which the green beans are added. Bake the whole thing for about 6 minutes. Remove the frying pan from the heat and serve the green beans on a platter. This dish is delicious with rice, for example.

Green Beans Wok

You can combine endlessly with woks. Green beans are also delicious for stir-frying. You can do whatever you like with it. But first cut and wash the green beans as described above.

Now preheat the oven to 180 degrees and take an oven dish to put the green beans in. First, however, go in a few crushed garlic cloves in the baking dish and possibly a few cherry tomatoes. Then place the green beans in the baking dish. Place the dish on the baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes.

Remove the dish from the oven and it can be served immediately on a plate.
