If you want to use the tomatoes again, you must thaw them first. You do this by removing them from the freezer. Put them on a plate and wait an hour. Freezing tomato cubes
This is a bit more work than freezing whole tomatoes, but you will enjoy it more later. What are you going to do?
Clean the tomatoes. Do you want to remove the skin? you can blanch them first. Make a cross at the bottom of the tomato with a sharp knife. Bring water to a boil and then put the tomatoes in the boiling water for 30 seconds and then rinse with cold water. Now you can remove the sheet.

Freezing Dried Tomatoes
You can freeze dried tomatoes, but this is not the best way to store dried tomatoes. These tomatoes are often used in salads and the like. When frozen and thawed, they lose a lot of structure and texture; they just don’t taste good anymore.
Freezing dried tomatoes is not necessary. It is best to store them in a jar with olive oil. Fill a jar with the dried tomatoes and top it off with oil. This way you can store them for a really long time and they retain the taste and structure.
Freezing Tomatoes For Soup
Frozen tomatoes can be used perfectly for the soup. Frozen tomatoes can only be used in warm dishes such as soup, stir-fries and sauces.
